Silver-gilt jewellery by Arthus Bertrand

The vermeil, made from 925 thousandths silver, is coated with a thin layer of 18-carat gold. This material is one of the precious metals worked by Arthus Bertrand. Lighter than gold, vermeil jewellery such as medals, bracelets, necklaces, pendants and earrings in vermeil can be worn every day and can be combined with each other and with silver creations.

Each piece of jewellery is crafted in the Arthus Bertrand workshop in Saumur. Celebrating over 200 years of heritage every day, the craftsmen with their golden hands cultivate and repeat the gestures and techniques of ancestral know-how to create jewellery collections imbued with emotion and character. Open the doors of the workshops and discover Arthus Bertrand's jewellery collections.

Vermeil has a special place in the history of precious metals. This alloy, made up of 18-carat gold and 925-thousandths silver, has recently come back into fashion, offering an alternative to 18-carat gold. Arthus Bertrand likes to work with and mix materials, and offers its own interpretation of this alloy. For further information, please contact our customer service team or our ambassadors in shop.
