A master goldsmith at heart, Maison Arthus Bertrand crafts girls’ christening medallions with the same savoir-faire as in the past. Stamped into yellow, white, or rose gold, each piece requires 25 manufacturing steps, including striking the metal several times to bring an exceptional relief to the engraved design. The medallion is then polished or sand-blasted, bringing each sculpted symbol and character a beautiful matte or shiny effect.

Veiled Madonna, Madonna with child, Miraculous Medal, Angel, Patron saint, Dove, Tree of Life, and much more: Maison Arthus Bertrand proposes a wide array of medallions or pebbles featuring secular or religious images. Traditionally gifted by the godmother for a christening, birth, communion, or birthday, the medallion also features a coordinating chain that is chosen by the godfather.

To complete the piece, Maison Arthus Bertrand offers the customisation of a first name, date or special word on the back of each girls’ christening medallion.
