Rounded or square crosses, short or long, slender or flared. To be worn as a necklace or on the wrist. Mounted on bracelets or necklaces. Crosses with dancing branches, like arms and legs stretched towards Heaven and Earth. A cross whose branches seem to indicate the four poles, whispering to its wearer:
“Go on, go on, go on. A cross that pays homage to the history of salvation and the Passion of Christ. Arthus-Bertrand sculpts crosses full of simplicity and sobriety. And feminine too: pearly, diamond-paved, carved on a pebble, cloverleaf. And for children, small crosses in white, blue or pink with gold edging.
More elaborate crosses: Celtic with a circle and a cross, Huguenot with a fluttering dove, Occitan with pearled points, Orthodox with cloudy edges, Romanesque with a Christ, Ravenna decorated with the Mystic Lamb. Crosses to adorn with light and to say “I believe”. Arthus-Bertrand crosses, witnesses of faith.
